Per hour on Windows, in each type's cheapest region. Typical spot: per pricing run of the last 7 days, the cheapest zone's spot price, averaged, as the finder shows it with that region selected. On-demand: the same region's price. Per vCPU-hour: the spot price, or without spot the on-demand price, per vCPU. No spot: AWS lists no spot price for this family. Every region is under Prices by region.
Description #
The Hpc7a instance family, generally available since August 17, 2023, is powered by AMD EPYC 9R14 processors and tailored for tightly coupled high-performance computing workloads. These instances offer up to 192 vCPUs, up to 768 GiB of memory, and have no local instance storage, operating with EBS only and up to 2.085 Gbps of EBS bandwidth. Equipped with up to 300 Gbps of network bandwidth using Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA), they are suited for complex simulation workloads such as computational fluid dynamics and weather modeling.
