c6a Instance Family
Description #
The C6a compute-optimized family, generally available since February 14, 2022, is powered by 3rd Gen AMD EPYC 7R13 processors with an all-core turbo frequency of up to 3.6 GHz. These instances, built on the AWS Nitro System, provide up to 50 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 40 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth, with no local instance storage. They support Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) on the largest size and feature always-on memory encryption via AMD TSME.
