i8g Instance Family
Description #
The I8G instance family, generally available since December 1, 2024, is storage-optimized and powered by AWS Graviton4 processors. These instances feature up to 45 TB of local NVMe storage using 3rd generation AWS Nitro SSDs for superior real-time performance and reduced latency. They offer up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth and 60 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. I8G instances are ideal for I/O intensive workloads like transactional and NoSQL databases.
