c6i Instance Family
Description #
The C6i compute-optimized instance family, released in October 2021, is powered by 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake 8375C) up to 3.5 GHz. Built on the AWS Nitro System, C6i offers up to 50 Gbps of network bandwidth and 40 Gbps of EBS bandwidth, with EFA support on the largest sizes. These instances are EBS-optimized, feature always-on memory encryption (Intel TME), and are ideal for compute-intensive workloads.
