c5n Instance Family
Description #
The C5N instance family, launched in November 2018, utilizes 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon Platinum 8124M (Skylake-SP) processors. Built on the AWS Nitro System, these compute-optimized instances are EBS-backed and feature up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth, significantly higher than C5 instances. They provide a 33% higher memory footprint and support Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) on the largest size, making them ideal for HPC and network-bound applications.
