t3 Instance Family

The T3 instance family, generally available since August 21, 2018, features burstable performance using custom 2.5 GHz Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including the Intel Xeon Platinum 8259CL model. Built on the AWS Nitro System, these general-purpose instances offer up to 5 Gbps of peak network bandwidth and up to 2.05 Gbps of burst EBS throughput. They utilize Amazon EBS for all storage and do not include local instance storage. A key feature is the default "Unlimited" bursting capability for CPU, network, and EBS, making them ideal for workloads with variable CPU usage.
