m8idb Instance Family
Description #
The M8idb instance family, generally available since April 28, 2026, features 6th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Granite Rapids) such as the 6975P-C with a 3.9 GHz all-core turbo frequency. These instances provide up to 22.8TB of local NVMe SSD storage and are optimized for block storage performance with up to 300 Gbps of EBS bandwidth. Equipped with 6th generation AWS Nitro cards and 100 Gbps networking, they are designed for data-intensive workloads requiring a balance of compute and high-performance storage.
