u7i-12tb Instance Family
Description #
The U7i High Memory instance family, generally available since May 2024, is powered by custom 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (Sapphire Rapids). The u7i-12tb.224xlarge instance offers 12 TiB of DDR5 memory, purpose-built for large in-memory databases like SAP HANA. These instances deliver up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth with ENA Express and provide up to 160 Gbps of Amazon EBS bandwidth. Built on the AWS Nitro System, the family is certified for running mission-critical SAP workloads.
