r6gd Instance Family

The R6GD memory-optimized instances, generally available since July 27, 2020, are powered by the AWS Graviton2 processor, featuring 64-bit Arm Neoverse N1 cores. These instances include up to 3.8 TB of high-speed, low-latency NVMe SSD local storage, denoted by the 'd'. They provide up to 25 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 19 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. Built on the AWS Nitro System, they deliver up to 40% better price performance for memory-intensive workloads.
