m8idn Instance Family
Description #
The M8idn instance family, generally available since April 28, 2026, features Intel Xeon 6975P-C (Granite Rapids) processors with a 3.9 GHz all-core turbo frequency. These instances provide up to 600 Gbps of networking bandwidth using AWS Nitro v6 cards and include high-speed local NVMe SSD storage. They leverage DDR5 memory for 2.5x higher throughput, making them ideal for network-intensive and I/O-heavy workloads like real-time analytics and large-scale databases.
