c5a Instance Family

The C5A instance family, generally available since June 4, 2020, is powered by custom 2nd Generation AMD EPYC 7002 series processors (AMD EPYC 7R32) running up to 3.3 GHz. These compute-optimized instances provide up to 20 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 9.5 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. C5A instances do not have local instance storage, but their C5AD variants feature local NVMe SSDs.
