x2iezn Instance Family
Description #
The EC2 X2iezn instance family, launched on January 26, 2022, features 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Cascade Lake) with an all-core turbo frequency of up to 4.5 GHz. These memory-optimized instances offer up to 1.5 TiB of memory and are EBS-only. They provide up to 100 Gbps of networking bandwidth and 19 Gbps of EBS bandwidth, making them suitable for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads and relational databases that benefit from high single-threaded processor performance and a large memory footprint.
