u7i-6tb Instance Family
Description #
The U7I-6TB High Memory instance family, generally available since December 9, 2024, is powered by 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids) and features 6TiB of DDR5 memory. These instances deliver up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth with ENA Express and up to 100 Gbps of EBS bandwidth for storage, but they do not include local instance storage. Built on the AWS Nitro System, the u7i-6tb.112xlarge type is purpose-built and SAP-certified for running large in-memory databases like SAP HANA.
