m5n Instance Family

The M5N instance family, generally available since October 2019, is powered by the 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (Cascade Lake, 8259CL) with a sustained all-core turbo of 3.1 GHz. These general-purpose instances offer up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 19 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. M5N instances are EBS-only, meaning they do not include local instance storage, unlike the M5DN variant. They are built on the AWS Nitro System and support Intel AVX-512 VNNI for enhanced deep learning inference.
