m5a Instance Family

The M5A general purpose instance family, launched in November 2018, is powered by AMD EPYC 7571 processors with an all-core turbo of 2.5 GHz. These instances are EBS-optimized, do not include local instance storage, and provide up to 20 Gbps of network bandwidth using Enhanced Networking. Built on the AWS Nitro System, a key feature is the approximately 10% cost savings they offer compared to comparable Intel-based M5 instances.
