trn1 Instance Family

The TRN1 instance family, generally available since October 10, 2022, features AWS Trainium chips and 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake SP). These machine learning ASIC instances offer up to 8 TB of local NVMe SSD storage and up to 1600 Gbps of networking bandwidth via second-generation Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA). They are designed for high-performance deep learning training and provide up to 50% cost savings compared to similar Amazon EC2 instances.
