r8gn Instance Family
Description #
The R8gn instance family, generally available since September 15, 2025, is powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, delivering enhanced compute performance. These memory-optimized instances feature the latest 6th generation AWS Nitro Cards, offering up to 600 Gbps of network bandwidth. R8gn instances are designed for network-intensive workloads and do not offer instance storage, relying on EBS for storage needs.
