c7a Instance Family

The C7a instance family, generally available since October 4, 2023, is powered by 4th Gen AMD EPYC 9R14 processors (up to 3.7 GHz) for compute-intensive workloads. These Nitro System-based instances use DDR5 memory and offer up to 50 Gbps of enhanced networking bandwidth. Storage is EBS-only, but they support up to 40 Gbps of EBS bandwidth and 128 EBS volume attachments. Key features include support for AVX-512, VNNI, and bfloat16, providing up to 50% higher performance than C6a.
