hpc7g Instance Family
Description #
The HPC7G instance family, generally available since June 20, 2023, is optimized for HPC workloads and features up to 64 cores of Arm-based AWS Graviton3E processors. These compute-intensive instances are EBS-only and utilize high-bandwidth DDR5 memory. They provide up to 200 Gbps of internode network bandwidth with Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) for low-latency communication, making them ideal for tightly coupled simulations like computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
