t2 Instance Family

The T2 instance family, launched in 2014, is a low-cost, general-purpose burstable type featuring Intel Xeon processors, such as the E5-2686 v4 @ 2.30GHz. These instances utilize a CPU credit model for a baseline performance with the ability to burst to full core, making them ideal for workloads that do not use the full CPU often. They offer EBS-Only instance storage and provide Low to Moderate network performance.
