c6g Instance Family

The C6G compute-optimized family, generally available since June 11, 2020, is powered by AWS Graviton2 processors, which feature 64-bit Arm Neoverse N1 cores. Built on the AWS Nitro System, these instances offer up to 25 Gbps network bandwidth and up to 19 Gbps EBS bandwidth, providing up to 40% better price performance than C5 instances. They are EBS-only by default, but a C6gd variant is available for workloads requiring high-speed, low-latency local NVMe SSD instance storage. This family is ideal for HPC, batch processing, ad serving, and video encoding.
