c6gn Instance Family
Description #
The C6GN instance family, generally available since December 18, 2020, features AWS Graviton2 processors (Arm Neoverse-N1) and is optimized for high network throughput. These compute-optimized instances offer up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth with Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) support and up to 38 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. Built on the AWS Nitro System, C6GN instances do not include local NVMe instance storage. They provide up to 40% better price-performance for network-intensive workloads like HPC and network appliances.
