m5zn Instance Family

The M5ZN instance family, generally available since December 1, 2020, is powered by custom 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Cascade Lake 8252C) featuring an all-core turbo frequency up to 4.5 GHz. These high-frequency instances deliver up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth, with support for Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) and up to 19 Gbps of dedicated throughput to Amazon EBS. M5ZN instances are EBS-optimized and, unlike some M5 variants, do not include local NVMe instance storage, making them ideal for high-performance computing, gaming, and simulation modeling applications.
