trn1n Instance Family

The Trn1n instance family, generally available since April 13, 2023, features 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake SP) with AWS Trainium accelerators. These accelerated computing instances are optimized for machine learning training and provide up to 1600 Gbps of networking bandwidth via second-generation Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA). They offer up to 8 TB of local NVMe storage and are implemented in EC2 UltraClusters, scaling up to 30,000 AWS Trainium accelerators.
