c8gb Instance Family

The EC2 C8g instance family, generally available since September 25, 2024, is powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, which utilize the Arm Neoverse-V2 architecture, offering up to 30% better performance than C7g instances. Built on the AWS Nitro System with DDR5-5600 memory, these compute-optimized instances are EBS-optimized by default and do not include local instance storage. They provide up to 50 Gbps of enhanced networking bandwidth and up to 40 Gbps of dedicated bandwidth to Amazon EBS, with EFA support on larger sizes.
