c8ib Instance Family
Description #
The C8ib instance family, generally available since April 2025, features Intel Xeon 6975P-C (Granite Rapids) processors designed for high-performance compute workloads. These instances provide up to 200 Gbps of networking bandwidth and enhanced EBS performance of up to 100 Gbps to ensure low-latency access to block storage. As EBS-optimized instances without local storage, the C8ib family is specifically engineered for compute-intensive applications such as batch processing, video encoding, and large-scale distributed analytics.
