The MAC-M4 instance family, generally available since September 12, 2025, is built on Apple M4 Mac mini computers featuring a 10-core Apple silicon M4 chip and 24 GB of unified memory. These bare-metal instances, ideal for Apple platform development, provide up to 10 Gbps of network bandwidth and 8 Gbps of EBS bandwidth via the AWS Nitro System. A key feature is the inclusion of 2 TB of low-latency local instance storage for improved caching and build performance.
