m6in Instance Family
Description #
The M6IN instance family, generally available since November 28, 2022, is powered by 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake 8375C) with an all-core turbo up to 3.5 GHz. These network-optimized instances are EBS-only, offering no local instance storage, but deliver up to 200 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 100 Gbps of Amazon EBS bandwidth. They are built on the AWS Nitro System and are suited for network-intensive workloads like 5G UPF and high-performance file systems. EFA networking is supported on the 32xlarge and metal sizes for lower-latency clustering.
