x1 Instance Family

The X1 instance family, generally available since May 2016, features Intel Xeon E7 8880 v3 (Haswell) processors. These memory-optimized instances offer up to 1,952 GiB of DRAM-based memory and are designed for running large-scale, in-memory applications. X1 instances provide up to 25 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 14 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. They also feature up to 1920 GB of SSD instance storage on some instance sizes.
