r8in Instance Family
Description #
The R8in instance family, generally available since October 29, 2024, features Intel Xeon 6975P-C processors (Granite Rapids) designed for high-performance memory-optimized workloads. These instances provide up to 400 Gbps of networking bandwidth and 100 Gbps of EBS bandwidth, making them ideal for communication-intensive applications and large-scale databases. Built on the AWS Nitro System, they offer enhanced security and performance without local instance storage across sizes ranging from large to 96xlarge.
