c8in Instance Family
Description #
The C8in instance family, generally available since November 12, 2025, features Intel Xeon 6 processors (Granite Rapids) using the 6975P-C model for high-performance compute-intensive tasks. These network-optimized instances deliver up to 400 Gbps of networking bandwidth and 160 Gbps of EBS bandwidth via the latest AWS Nitro System. Designed for scaling demanding workloads like network appliances and data analytics, they offer sizes up to metal-96xl and rely exclusively on EBS for storage.
