i7i Instance Family
Description #
The I7i instance family, generally available since April 28, 2025, is Storage Optimized, featuring 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Emerald Rapids) with an all-core turbo frequency of 3.2 GHz. These instances offer up to 45TB of NVMe storage via 3rd generation AWS Nitro SSDs and deliver up to 100 Gbps of network bandwidth and 60 Gbps of EBS bandwidth. They are ideal for I/O intensive and latency-sensitive workloads, including support for the torn write prevention feature.
