r8gb Instance Family
Description #
The R8g instance family, generally available since July 9, 2024, features AWS Graviton4 processors, delivering enhanced performance for memory-intensive workloads. These instances offer up to 50 Gbps of networking bandwidth and 40 Gbps of EBS bandwidth. R8g instances may offer local NVMe-based SSD storage and are built on the AWS Nitro System for maximized resource efficiency and security.
