x1e Instance Family

The X1E instance family, launched in September 2017, features quad socket 2.3 GHz Intel Xeon E7 8880 v3 (Haswell) processors. These memory-optimized instances offer up to 25 Gbps of networking bandwidth and up to 14 Gbps of dedicated EBS bandwidth. Instance storage includes SSD options, and they are designed for memory-intensive workloads such as SAP HANA. They provide configurations with up to 128 vCPUs and 3,904 GiB of memory.
