Description #
The IS4GEN instance family, generally available since November 30, 2021, features AWS Graviton2 processors, offering the lowest cost per TB of SSD storage and the highest SSD storage density per vCPU in Amazon EC2. These storage-optimized instances provide up to 30 TB of NVMe SSD storage using AWS Nitro SSDs, with up to 50 Gbps of networking bandwidth. They are built on the AWS Nitro System and are ideal for I/O-intensive workloads requiring high throughput and low-latency access to large datasets.
