m7a Instance Family

The M7a general-purpose instances, generally available since August 18, 2023, are powered by 4th Gen AMD EPYC 9R14 (Genoa) processors with a max frequency of 3.7 GHz. These instances, which offer up to 50% greater performance than M6a, do not include instance storage but are EBS-optimized with up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth. They are built on the AWS Nitro System and feature high-speed DDR5 memory for 2.25x more memory bandwidth. Networking is a maximum of 50 Gbps, and they support advanced features like AVX-512, VNNI, and bfloat16.
