c6gd Instance Family
Description #
The C6GD instance family, generally available since July 27, 2020, features the AWS Graviton2 processor with 64-bit Arm Neoverse cores, delivering up to 40% better price performance than comparable C5 instances. These Compute Optimized instances are built on the AWS Nitro System and include local NVMe SSD storage for high-speed, low-latency data access. They offer Enhanced Networking with up to 25 Gbps of bandwidth, suitable for workloads like high-performance computing, batch processing, and video encoding.
