r6idn Instance Family

The R6IDN instance family, generally available since November 28, 2022, are memory-optimized instances featuring 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake) with an all-core turbo of up to 3.5 GHz. These instances include up to 7.6 TB of high-speed, local NVMe SSD storage for low-latency workloads. They offer high network throughput with up to 200 Gbps of network bandwidth and up to 100 Gbps of Amazon EBS bandwidth. Built on the AWS Nitro System, the 32xlarge and metal sizes also support Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA).
