x2gd Instance Family
Description #
The X2gd instance family, generally available since March 2021, features AWS Graviton2 processors with 64-bit Arm Neoverse cores. These memory-optimized instances offer the lowest cost per GiB of memory in Amazon EC2 and are built on the AWS Nitro System. They provide up to 25 Gbps of networking bandwidth and include NVMe SSD local instance storage. X2gd instances are ideal for memory-intensive workloads such as in-memory databases and real-time analytics.
