x8g Instance Family
Description #
The EC2 X8G instance family, generally available since September 18, 2024, is powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, delivering enhanced performance compared to previous generations. These memory-optimized instances offer up to 3 TiB of memory and feature networking bandwidth up to 50 Gbps, with EBS bandwidth up to 40 Gbps. X8g instances provide EBS only storage and are ideal for memory-intensive workloads.
