m5ad Instance Family

The M5AD instance family, generally available since March 27, 2019, is a General Purpose offering featuring AMD EPYC 7000 series processors with an all-core turbo up to 2.5 GHz. These instances are built on the AWS Nitro System and include local NVMe-based SSD instance storage, with up to 3.6TB available on the largest sizes. They provide up to 25 Gbps of networking bandwidth and offer a 10% cost savings over comparable Intel-based M5 instances.
