g4ad Instance Family

The EC2 G4ad instance family, launched in December 2020, features 2nd generation AMD EPYC processors and AMD Radeon Pro V520 GPUs, offering excellent price performance for graphics-intensive applications. Networking bandwidth goes up to 25 Gbps depending on the instance size. G4ad instances can have up to 2.4 TB of local NVMe-based SSD storage. They are well-suited for workloads like game streaming, remote workstations, and video rendering, especially when NVIDIA libraries aren't required.
